One of the outstanding characteristics of La Campana Rice is that it forms part of the Consejo Regulador de la Denominación de Origen Arroz de Valencia. This shows once again, the effort to always look for the best rice to distribute to the consumers.

_BOMBA RICE

Bomba rice is a “JAPONICA TYPE”, small and pearl-like grain. It is peculiar because it doesn’t open length ways like the other varieties. It requires a larger amount of water and it can expand up to two or three times its initial volume.

_LONG GRAIN RICE

Boils quicker and is ideal for garnishes. It is a grain which remains whole and loose after cooking and can be consumed either hot or cold. For this reason La Campana long-grain rice is ideal for side dishes and salads.

_PARBOILED RICE

Rice with grains taken from cargo rice, which go through a hidrotermic  treatment followed by drying. It is susceptible to later production, acquiring characteristic colouring.

ARROZ LA CAMPANA avail of 2 facilities, situated in Sollana and Catarroja. The first one can be found in the middle of the Albufera Natural Park. It is the drying place where the rice husk is gathered directly from the paddy fields. The second facility consists of a mill, a packaging plant, storage of the final product and cargo.
